John Brennan was President Obama’s CIA Director and recently took to Twitter to challenge the firing of FBI Assistant Director Andrew McCabe. He blasted President Trump with “when the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America…America will triumph over you”. Meanwhile, McCabe and former FBI Director Comey are challenging the decision. Police as babysitters? School’s out for Spring Break, and the Ft. Lauderdale police are at it again, trying to control the crowds on their beaches. Why can’t the police solve the issue of the descent of hundreds of underage college students swarming the beaches, barely dressed, performing lewd behavior, drinking and doing drugs? Seems the police function more as babysitters to students who drink to intoxication, do drugs, endanger themselves and others (swimming while high), rather than as law enforcement. What do you think the police should do about the annual Beach Baby Bacchanalia? Floridians are tired of students vomiting on their beach! Read this link.

Interview: Mark Schneider, American Enterprise Institute Scholar. Topic: We know how much it costs, but how much is it really worth, given so many liberal arts institutions lean left?

How rich is rich? Is it a good thing for people to get rich? Most Americans would say, Yes! But when it comes to billionaires, there’s hardly agreement. Most Americans think of Amazon boss Jeff Bezos, and wonder if he needs to get richer? Are billionaires too wealthy? Where does America draw the line, given our Capitalist system? Would we accept the wealth of the super-rich if we knew more of their social responsibility efforts? Bezos’ Amazon is now worth more than $100 Billion…so should America now say, “what’s wrong with this picture?” Why?
