Affordable medical care is here and it has nothing to do with government medical insurance. All types of medical services are now being offered at discounted prices without any type of insurance or government subsidies . . . stemming from free market models. They include Direct Primary Care doctors whose practices offer flat fees for members as low as $50 per month and Surgery Centers with exact costs printed on their website. These companies are for profit with obvious incentives to curb costs. Would you choose a free market medical plan over a government one?
Would you marry a robot, especially if you couldn’t find a human spouse? One Chinese man who is a robotic engineer has done just that and claims he will live happily ever after with his new female robot bride. He says she can do many things a real woman can do, including identifying Chinese characters and speaking some words. But to get her more “up to speed” on other skills, he says he’s planning upgrades. Do you think this idea of “wedded bliss” could catch on in America? Why?

Mack Beggs, a 17 yr-old transitioning female to male takes testosterone. Beggs won the title for the girl’s team wrestling in TX as the University Interscholastic League says she/he must compete as female, her biological sex. The testosterone Beggs takes meets the medical exception to participate as a male, (usually referring to treatments that are required for recovery from significant injury.) Now the League is being sued for putting the entire team of female wrestling athletes in “imminent threat to bodily harm” because of Beggs’ use of testosterone. Do athletic policies need to be put in place to protect transgender people or should transgender athletes compete according to their biological sex?
