This week the heads of the FBI and NSA testified to Congress regarding any possible interference by Russia into our general election process. They stated to the congressional committee that multiple heads of intelligence departments have concluded there was no collusion to help Trump become the President over Clinton. But now, Trump believes that Obama “wiretapped” Trump Tower and did so, possibly by using British intelligent sources, so as not to leave an “American” footprint. On this, both the FBI and NSA heads said our friends at British intelligence did not do this. Why, then, doesn’t the President let this matter die (the wiretapping) especially if the Russian matter shows no collusion?
Opioid deaths in NYC: More than 1000 New Yorkers died from an opioid overdose just last year. To counter this, NYC says they will spend $38 million annually to battle this problem. Mayor DeBlasio says it’s a national problem because it hits urban areas and rural ones, alike. Do you think the best approach to this epidemic is to spend more money? What else can be done instead?
