Are there any words more vile than Nazi or Fascist? Yet, many progressive have called President Trump “Hitler,” or a Nazi, or a Fascist. Orwell said that “political chaos is connected to the decay of language, and one can bring about improvement by starting at the verbal end. What do the words “Nazi” and “Fascist” mean to you? Does Trump measure up to the definition of Nazi and Fascist? What are your suggestions for improvement of our language?

The Oscars, 2017, are this Sunday night, and the creator of the Broadway hit “Hamilton” will attend. He wants the show to “go political.” In years past the show has had political overtones, and one years was deemed “#Oscars so white.” He argues that for three hours of awards, the program shouldn’t ignore what the American people are dealing with for 24 hours a day. Do you agree? Why? why not?

Interview: Ryan Clancy, of “No Labels.” Topic: This organization in DC is about problem solving via bringing both parties (Republicans and Democrats) together. “No fighting, just fixing,” is their motto.

Some Law Schools (Wake Forest, Univ of Hawaii, and U of AZ) are considering dropping the LSAT. But they’re only doing so because they have shrinking applicant pools to these law schools. They say they will accept the GRE score instead, but isn’t this just a dodge? If applications to law schools are falling, what is the real reason for the lack of interest in being a lawyer?
