After eight years of Obama, (the self-proclaimed anti-war president), we’re still at war. Why? Does it employ people? Maybe being at war defines a president as a “war president.” Maybe Obama did give peace a chance with his “lead from behind philosophy” and peace just can’t work. president-obama- we-are- still-at- war-n2268988

The Robert W. Coleman Elementary School in Baltimore is using “mindful meditation” for unruly kids instead of sending them to detention. The idea is that meditation helps kids find ways to calm themselves and redirect their thinking. These misbehaving kids are encouraged to sit in the room – filled with lamps, decorations and plush, purple pillows – and go through practices like breathing or meditation, helping them refocus and re-center. They are also asked to talk through what happened. Is this just another form of public education’s feel-good attempt not to discipline our kids, or is it helping them take responsibility for their behavior? Before you answer, you might consider at Robert W. Coleman Elementary, there have been exactly zero suspensions last year and so far this year.

Interview: Dr. Elizabeth Vliet, MD, Healthcare Expert. Topic:  What will it take, exactly, to repeal and replace Obamacare? It’s one thing to uproot it, it’s another thing to have a replacement ready. Republicans may uproot it, before they have a substitute for it.

Cub Scouts say “you’re gone” to a girl who says she’s really a boy. The gender issue has hit the New Jersey Cub scout pack and an eight year-old girl (who got into the pack as a tomboy through her mother) has been discovered and dropped. Can’t the Cub Scouts continue on as a boy troop? What does it mean to be a “boy troop?” Why do some LGBT activists want to rock the boat with the Scouts?
