UN: With a new administration coming in, which is not so keen on the UN, do you think Trump should work to defund it, and later, to see that the US ultimately withdraws from it? Conservative pundit Charles Krauthammer recently said that Trump should turn the UN building in New York into city condos. What do you think?
USS Gabby Giffords: There’s a certain irony in naming a USS gunship after an anti-gun advocate, but former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords was present at the christening in 2015. Now this enemy-destroyer will be commissioned in 2017. Giffords has, in the meantime, turned into more of an anti-gun advocate. Do you think she should reconsider the use of her name, given this US warship is an enemy-killer armed with machine guns, missiles and other fast-firing weapons. Shouldn’t the Navy also reconsider using her name?
Interview: Ann Bridges, Author/Business Expert in Silicon Valley. Topic: “The Ugly, Unethical Underside of Silicon Valley.” Is Silicon Valley turning into a “Hollywood” of northern California with its lure, puffery, and over-pitching new products and services for an easy “pot of gold?” When business reporters question the hype, they are often shut down with the “talk to the hand” gesture. http://venturebeat.com/2016/12/28/the-ugly- unethical-underside- of-silicon-valley/

(Meanwhile, colleges employ more than 1,000 congressional lobbyists.) What do you think is the M.O for the government to support institutions that are failing abysmally?
