Year’s end, 2016. End of year brings reflections on one’s purpose, one’s successes and failures, and one’s hope for a new beginning. Recently, Alan Thicke died, then George Michael died, and Carrie Fisher almost died. 2016 also took Prince and David Bowie. When celebrities die or are near death, their news has a way of making others reflect on their own mortality. So, in addition to thinking about one’s raison d’etre, (reason for being) the final days of the year presents another reminder to “take stock” of your life, for the Grim Reaper comes for all. How do you take stock? How do you reflect on “auld lang syne” (days gone by)? Do you reflect in private? With companions? With a pastor? With a journal? With your accountant? With your children? With nature?

He also said, once out of office, he will be silent “internally,” but will not stay on the sidelines “politically.” What do you think are his intentions once out of office, given he will continue to reside in D.C.? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3954832/Obama- Russias-Putin-speak- economic-summit- Peru.html

Certainly Bernie Sanders fed their interest in socialism. Have Boomers failed to teach their Millennials the downside to socialism? Why don’t Millennials appreciate the capitalist model, instead?
